by Mike - For the first time that I remember Mecum is quoting the price estimate range for cars at their Monterey auction. They have two Bizzarrinis for sale and both have a very healthy price estimate. I believe if the estimates published by Mecum are reached both of these cars would set a world record price for each model.

by Mike - At the very last minute - just before registration closed - I decided to sign up to take the Bizzarrini GT 5300 to Concorso Italiano. I will be there with Bizzarrini No. 0256 in the Iso & Bizzarrini section, probably near the little blue rooms known as the restrooms (or toilets depending on where you are from).

by Mike - This past Monday, before the activities of Monterey Car Week began, I took the Bizzarrini out for a drive down Carmel Valley Road and into Carmel along the beach and up Ocean Avenue. The crowds were not so large as they were yesterday and will be the rest of this week. Many snap shots were taken of the Bizzarrini by the people on the streets of Carmel.

by Mike - Two Bizzarrinis were for sale at the Mecum auction a few days ago in Monterey. They both had strong bids and probably should have sold especially the Iso Grifo A3/C Bizzarrini. As Mecum says - the Bid Goes On.

by Mike - The first time I saw a photo of a Bizzarrini was around 2004 and it was really an Iso Rivolta A3/C race car (the predecessor to the Bizzarrini GT 5300). I was smitten and started a search for one of my own. The first time I saw one in person was at Concorso Italiano in 2006 when the beautiful green example owned by Gerd Eckstein and driven by Michael Eckstein won best in show.
